photographs- townscape

These are just a few of the photographs that i took when i was out side there all diffrent and I'm just basically showing photographs of the building i took pictures of. it was difficult and there was problems in the proses of gathering the images like getting color cause most building are grey or orange so had to explore the surrounding a bit more, and also the camera was a problem because to be fed I'm no expert on cameras i know basics and i couldn't find the right settings for the camera so had to go back to college and ask about that which is also a time waster. but at least i got my photographs and they look okay.

textiles townscape/architecture/designs

these are a few ideas i looked at to inspired me to design my skirt. I like these ideas because there unusual and there design is was very praticular. what i like about them also is that all of the designs are different and have a weird shape to all of them yet have a great structure to them. i could use so many techniques to make my design because I'm making a skirt in textiles for my townscape project. this research is just showing that i can expand my ideas and try different methods, materials, and colors.

first illustrator picture

this piece was constructed on illustrator, what i had to do was get the bar on the right hand side of the screen to be made in to a layer instead of a background, after putting two layers up i put the picture on one of the layers, that i had taken in photography and i used a template to minemize the color so it was a kinda like see threw picture. then i used the pen toot and i drew all around the building picture as you can see where the lines are, this tool makes straight lines and curvy lines. then i clicked on to the selection tool and that basically selects any area you choose and as i select it i used button names fill to color in the section that i selected.

illustrator

This is the work I've been doing on illustrator resonantly. I used the pen tool for the out line and then selected the outline with brushes for the out lines and i used selection tool to select all of the outline and i chanced the style of the out line to more of a paint brush effect. after that i didn't know what to do to it so i had help with my next idea to use the blob brush for the coloring bit of the picture it gives it more of a abstract look cause its not all in proportion i personally like the style I've done it in.
i enjoyed using illustrator it has been a new experience and I've learnt quite a bit what some off the buttons do I'm glad that I've had the chance to use it hope that i can learn more from it in the future.

Bonnie Belt Ceramic Bonsai Trees

Bonnie Belt Ceramic Bonsai

her work isn't about townscape but she does great ceramic pieces. I researched her work a little further and found that, she started off small and simple ceramic pieces with the theme of nature and now she is expanding her work on nature with birds and wave motifs. she like the elegant look of her ceramic pieces.
Her wave ceramic pieces are inspired from Japanese master of wood cut prints. the waves show not only the power of nature but the graceful beauty.
