dada 2

collage raoul hausmann, The most significant and iconic use of found objects in art, however, were Duchamp’s “Readymades.” he made it feel like there was anger in this piece.
assembaleged Raoul Hausmann, Mechanical Head, 1920. he made this assemblage look kinda sad in a way.

John Heartfield (not usually considered a Dadaist, per se) He Swallows Gold and Spits Out Tin Plate (1930's). he's showing the evil in hitler.

Duchamp, The Fountain, 1917. this was just   a regular fountain turned upside down many disagree that it is even art but it is because he's made it his own. i personally think that he's trying to get the point across that we can change things.

dadaism

1) The dada movement happened in the first world war from 1916 to 1922 and the movement began as an attempt to protest against the world war and get there point across.

2) dada began in Zurich, Switzerland and spread to berlin thats where all the artists decided to use abstraction to fight against all the social, political and cultural ideas of that time .

3) This international movement was begun by a group of artists and poets associated with the cabaret voltaire in Zurich. The main artists that where involved with dadaism where hugo ball, emmy henings, triton tzara, jean arp, marcel janco, richerd huelsenbeck, sophie tauber, hans richter and others... they made discussed art and put on performances in cabaret volitare to express their discussed with the war and the interest that inspired it.

4) Dada was born out of negative reaction to the horrors of world war 1. the artists where rebelling agains the war threw art they wanted to get the point across that there was anger against the war so they used there art to create a moment of fury.  Dada rejected reason and logic, prizing nonsense, irrationality and intuition.

5) on july 14 1916 hugo ball recited the first manifesto. And then in 1917 tzara wrote a second dada manifesto was considered one of the most important writings. witch was published in 1918.

6) fountain dadaism was made by marcle duchamp.Fountain is one of Duchamp's most famous works and is widely seen as an icon of twentieth-century art. The original, which is now lost, consisted of a standard urinal, laid flat on its back rather than upright in its usual position, and signed 'R. Mutt 1917'. The Tate's work is a 1964 replica and is made from glazed earthenware painted to resemble the original porcelain.
Submitted for the exhibition of the Society of Independent Artists in 1917,Fountain was rejected by the committee, even though the rules stated that all works would be accepted from artists who paid the fee.
Consider the Fountain and it's importance in relation to the whole history of art.

apply knowledge and understanding

abstract, contemory, historical, photojournalism, commercial or editorial photography. out of all these id say that I'm influenced by abstract and editorial photography because there probably the two ones that actually interest me because there fasanaiting to look at.

henri cartier analys

henri cartier does photorealist pictures his work is realistic and i say a little photo journalism because his pictures describe kinda whats going on like you get a good observational of what its about. it looks like he ttys to make it a tad historical cause its like old fashiond cloths and a old camera setting like black and white or grey. and i personally think that he's edited his photographs so he's most likely used editorial photography to.

difference between primary and secondary research

primary and secondary research primary is your research that you've found out and secondary is someone else's research.

photography layering townscape

i used photo shop to layer/overlap the pictures and i changed the colors and lighting. i liked doing this work because it was interesting and i liked experimenting with all the colors and filters and the different buttons.

templates/ illustrator

Templates on blogger is used to make the picture that you've put up on the screen more see threw so you can use pen tool to go over it to make an out line of it but thats all I've used it for so far. there probably more uses for it but i shall use them in the future some time perhaps. but template is just used as a see threw template that you just draw around.

difference between selection tool and direct selection tool

Selection Tool, the selection tool grabs hold oh a hole part of a piece and you could use it for changing the width of lines or color or style of line ect.

direct selection tool, this tool changes shapes of lines or shapes it grips hold of where you have selected it then you can move it to where ever you want warp it.

exploring shapes/ Illustrator

these are the shapes that I've made and colourd. this was just like a tester just seeing what some of the different buttons do.
it was good to learn abit more about illustrator.

Dot to dot duck/ illustrator

my dot to dot duck i had to use pen tool to curve the out line of the duck and sometimes it wouldn't always go to plan so i would have to re do it again but overall it turned out fine.

photographs- townscape

These are just a few of the photographs that i took when i was out side there all diffrent and I'm just basically showing photographs of the building i took pictures of. it was difficult and there was problems in the proses of gathering the images like getting color cause most building are grey or orange so had to explore the surrounding a bit more, and also the camera was a problem because to be fed I'm no expert on cameras i know basics and i couldn't find the right settings for the camera so had to go back to college and ask about that which is also a time waster. but at least i got my photographs and they look okay.

task1 townscape

henri cartier bresson photography, i like how he catches the moments of people but still has the the buildings in the background to give the picture life and a great effect it looks old fashioned and makes in an amazing picture. the buildings he chooses make an impact to the picture like this first picture makes a wonderful vue of all the building. he's a wonderful photographer and i like his work.
